  • Operating system version (iOS, watchOS)

2.4 Speech-to-Text Data and AI Assistant

When you use the speech-to-text feature and AI assistant powered by OpenAI:

  • Voice recordings are temporarily processed to convert speech to text.
  • Audio data is transmitted securely to OpenAI's servers for processing.
  • Voice recordings are not permanently stored by us.
  • Important: Voice messages are processed solely for transcription purposes and are not retained or used for model training.
  • The AI assistant helps compose messages by processing your input in real-time.
  • Your data is not used for training AI models.
  • You can disable these features at any time.
  • OpenAI processes data according to their privacy policy.
